Picture it. The near future. The seas have risen, the end times are nigh and​ ​you’re stuck…singing…and worshipping…in Athlone. A play with songs (not​ ​a musical!), This is NOT a Cult shepherds its flock into the bleak remnants of​ ​apocalyptic Ireland where Jesus 2 has gathered a desperate bunch of so-​​called sinners to his table to worship both his deeds and quite possibly his​ ​misdeeds.

Formed in 2018, No Desserts is a company devoted to bringing weird, wild,​ ​wacky theatre to Irish audiences in a way of digesting our most disturbing​ ​delights. 2019 saw company co​-​founder Gemma Kane’s 48 return to Smock​ ​Alley’s ​Main ​S​pace for a hugely acclaimed run​ and its​ tour in 2020 signals the​ ​company’s ever growing​ success.​
