The Politics of Disgust

Play Not Funny

Get ready to laugh! Get ready to learn! Get ready to be DISGUSTED!

Let’s talk about politics, stinky!

God has deserted you but Susyan Pork (with a Y) and Susan Beanz (with a Z) haven’t.
As professional women of business and diagrams, we know the world is cruel, but we’re here to help you navigate your sweaty little place in it.

Armed with markers, Post-it notes and some truly severe haircuts, this pair embark on an increasingly unhinged attempt to teach audiences how to spot propaganda, interrogate the politics of disgust and survive their increasingly absurd reality.

Part-political education, part-theatrical breakdown and part-emergency workplace intervention, The Politics of Disgust asks what happens when disgust stops being merely a feeling and becomes a political tool; and whether we can laugh our way through the mess.

Age Suitability: 18+
Warnings: Contains references to racism / misogyny / transphobia and depictions of suicide. This event features smoke machines, strobe lighting and excessive loud noise/music.
