Sophie, Ben and Other Problems

Sophie Ben and Other Problems Banner Image

Sophie and Ben love each other a lot, but sometimes, they make that a bit too difficult for themselves.
Two twenty-somethings who are trying to find their way in the world, they guide us through their lives of low-key alcoholism, deeply rooted regret, and unfortunate sexual mishaps.

Join Sophie and Ben as they impart some words of wisdom on life, love, and modern day millennial relationships in a play that has been described by West-End Wilma as “quirky, wholesome, and desperately moving.”

About the company…
Binge Theatre is a new theatre company set up in 2017 with the sole aim to examine the meaning of the world around us in the 21st century.

We aim to produce relevant (yet irreverent), contemporary (but classic), pleasant (though provocative) performances by the people of today who yearn for a better, more colourful, tomorrow. We encourage eccentricity and are inspired by the imaginative. Our first production, Ethan and Evan and All They Know Now, debuted at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival in May 2018. In February 2019, The Terms and Conditions of Me and My Ma premiered in Smock Alley as part of the Scene & Heard festival. Sophie, Ben, and Other Problems marks our second full production.

We are constantly creating, and consistently curious.
We are hungry for more.
We are BINGE.
