ABOUT THE COMPANY
DYKEish was founded by Niamh O’Farrell-Tyler in early 2025 as a theatre collective making work ‘by queers, for queers’ and its core members – Niamh O’Farrell-Tyler, Vanessa Byrne, Kai Allen, Megan Flynn, Jess Jenkins, and Gráinne Sheehan – were officially recognised after the success of their first production, ROADKILL, at the Edinburgh Fringe.
The DYKEish members work together, combining all of their varied individual experiences, to deliver community-led events and theatre which celebrate the queer experience. Through the last year and a half, DYKEish has held multiple sold out community fundraising events, and runs a monthly open mic to enrich both the queer and creative scenes in Dublin. Their events have been featured on a variety of platforms such as GCN, Alternative Dublin, Love Temple Bar, and more. They have multiple creative and theatrical projects in development for 2027.
