Death Notice Disco

Andrew Galvin

Irish wake culture meets an electropop cabaret of dead celebrities

Have you ever tripped so hard you heard your own death notice on the radio and David Bowie turned it into an electro-pop banger?

Death Notice Disco is the surreal semi-autobiographical tale of a man who follows a Heron into the underworld, asking the big questions about death, grief and whether talking birds can ever really be trusted.

Think Flann O’Brien does the Orpheus myth with an underworld cabaret of dead celebrities in an Irish wake house.

Andrew Galvin mixes theatre, storytelling and song in a psychedelic, thought-provoking comedy about loss, memory, and the slippery nature of existence.
