For 40 years the residents of this little hamlet with the highest death rates in Ireland have charmed and entertained viewers all over the country. But now for the first time ever and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ireland’s second best loved soap opera, be amongst the first audience members to witness the life altering madness LIVE ON STAGE!

LemonSoap Productions are the inaugural resident artists at Dublin Municipal Theatre as part of SOFT CAPITAL, an artist-led audience development programme.

Following the success of their five star hit Boyfriends at DMT which played in DMT in November 2025, LemonSoap return with a work in progress showing of their riotously farcicial new play.
LemonSoap Productions is a collective of young artists and makers invested in stories of depth, imagination, and character. With a focus on the mundane as epic, the everyday as extraordinary, and a theatre of aesthetic and ambition, LemonSoap seek to add a new chorus of voices to the Irish theatre landscape.

Recent credits include the musical Beards by HK Ní Shioradáin, Pistachio with Oscar nominee Piper Laurie, and our chart topping podcast series Fruit featuring an ensemble cast of over 50 performers. Boyfriends marked LemonSoap’s first national tour and BallyBridgeWater is the first of many exciting 2026 projects.
