Post-show discussion with Kate each night!
“Perfect balance of truth, wit, and humour…poignant.” -LA Post-Examiner
Dubbed “one of the most commanding solo shows around today,” Kate Huffman’s shockingly hilarious, brutally honest solo show covers two decades of living with an OCD-instilled eating disorder. Fresh from her award-winning run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Huffman embodies 18 characters and uses multi-media effects to guide us through the toll her strict set of rules and rituals based around numbers and eternal body hatred takes on all areas of her life. Charm, wit, and giddy self-deprecation offer an opportunity for all people with obsessions, neuroticism, or negative self-talk to laugh at themselves.
About Kate: Kate Huffman is an actor and writer who actively works in film, TV, and theatre (Fresh Off the Boat, Castle, reasons to be pretty – Geffen Playhouse). Her work in theatre has won her an LA Weekly Theatre Award, a Los Angeles Drama Critics’ Circle Award nomination, and an Encore Producers Award. She is a graduate of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade (UCB) and performs sketch comedy at improv Olympic West, UCB, and Second City. She has appeared in San Francisco Sketch Fest, Austin’s Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, Los Angeles’s Funny Women Festival, the Hollywood Fringe Festival and Comedy Central Stages.
