A Life In The Theatre

Byrne & McNulty

[blockquote_right]3 – 15 Apr | 8pm | Boys’ School[/blockquote_right]

Byrne & McNulty present the 2017 revival of (Pulitzer and Tony Award winner) David Mamet’s A Life In The Theatre.

David Mamet’s hilarious two-hander charts the relationship between an older actor reaching the twilight of his career, and that of his rising young counterpart.

Mamet’s love/hate letter to the theatre is also filled with biting satire as the audience are “treated” to scenes from plays the two characters perform within the play.

Not content with this level of complexity, this production will have its 2 actors switch roles each night, creating two unique performances of the same production.

CAST: Sean Doyle + Ben Waddell who will alternate the roles of Robert; “An Older Actor”, and John; “A Younger Actor” each night.

To experience the show with the actors roles reversed, tickets for the second night would be reduced from €16 to €10.`
