An intimate night of storytelling, song and comedy. This will be people coming together in the Irish tradition of Nollaig na mBan, to recognise and celebrate the work of women, in the public and private spheres.
An old idea but in the context of #WakingTheFeminists, it’s an urgent one. Remarkable artists will perform extracts and songs which they’ve selected to suit the theme of the night including by Olwen Fouéré (riverrun), The Evertides, Sonya Kelly (The Wheelchair on My Face, How To Keep an Alien), Allison Spittle (Allison Spittle Goes to Hawaii)
There’ll be cake, there’ll be performance, there’ll be wonderful people and a gentle twist on an old theme.
An excellent way to see out the Christmas period.
