Inspired by Ireland’s mythology, Candlelit Tales bring you an old tale told anew. From the time before the ‘once upon a time,’ we take you back to the oldest tales: those that survived, that were passed on from ear to ear, that were passed down to this time, to tell to you.

Candlelit Tales is a storytelling company born from the sibling duo Aron and Sorcha Hegarty, whose ambition is to spread the wealth of wisdom, passion and play which exists in Irish Mythology. This year the company has gathered a vibrant collective of performers, dancers and musicians whose complementary additions bring these elements of mythology to life through their expert forms of expression.
