Lost in Asia

Jack Gavin

If you’re going to be sad, son, you might as well be sad in the sun.

After the sudden death of his father, Aaron is left completely numb. He runs. Runs from his grief, the mourning neighbours, the auntie in laws and the Deirdres and Sharons of Dublin with their endless talk of mortgages and buying bleedin’ gaffs.

He chases the noise and chaos anything that might make him feel alive again. But what happens when feeling something means feeling everything?

The premiere of Lost in Asia comes to The Boys’ School at Smock Alley Theatre from the 11th – 15th of November.

Developed as part of Axis Assemble Artist.
