Collaborative Artists Company
13 – 16 Jun | 8pm | 3pm only on Saturday 16th | Boys’ School
The Collaborative Artists Company presents Lady Na Master and the Synaptic Room.
In the wake of the abortion referendum this new live performance work explores what it means to still feel bound by our bodies, and poses a simple question ‘Is this the way I should feel?’.
This multi-layered work directed by David Francis Moore, featuring performances by spoken word artist Feli Speaks and composer Dan Reid, interweaves poetry, sound, installation, animation and the body to create a highly charged performance within a captivating sensorial space. Set design by Greg Mitchell, lighting design by Megan Reilly, costume design by Olga Maslova, and animations by visual artist Stephanie Golden.

Founded in 2014 the Collaborative Artists Company is an artist-led organisation that is dedicated to the development, creation and presentation of experimental inter/multi and trans-disciplinary work. Established as a platform for open discussion, experimentation and collaboration across multiple art forms, the Collaborative Artists Company engages with artists from a variety of practices, including visual arts, dance, music, theatre, performance art, social practice, design, digital media, and the literary arts. We view art as a transformational practice and aim to develop and implement collaborative projects that explore the intersections between fine art disciplines while at the same time connecting with a broader interdisciplinary inquiry.
