Ethiopiaid is an organisation creating lasting and positive change in Ethiopia by supporting projects ranging from maternal health and women’s welfare to education and disabilities.
Our vision is an Ethiopia without preventable poverty in which every person enjoys the right to quality education, healthcare and a life of dignity.
Ethiopia has made huge strides forward since the devastation and despair of the famines during the 1980s. Our work recognises that Ethiopians are determined and dedicated with exceptional entrepreneurial spirit. We drive further progression and development in Ethiopia by tapping into this talent and working with trusted local organisations that hold the answers and solutions to the problems that exist today.
Our mission is partnering with local organisation to help them unlock their potential and prevent poverty in Ethiopia in a realistic and achievable way. We give local people opportunities – through funding – to use their initiative and skills to make the right difference: in a nutshell we help Ethiopian people to help themselves in a manner that is empowering them to be responsible for their own future.
